Basic
installation costs*:
In most cases the minimum installation charge for an installer is
$40.00. If you only have a single blind that requires installation
and the charge by the foot totals $15.00, you will still be required
to pay a minumum of $40.00. Most installers will also charge a high
ladder fee of $20.00 and a long-distance charge if travel distance
is more than 25 miles, these are standard fees..
Expect to
pay the following for installation services:
Blinds- $3-$5.00 a running foot. (36" wide blind = $9
to $15).
Blinds = mini,
woods, micros & vinyls
Shutters:
- $50 pre-measurement
fee (to accurately measure the window)
- For actual
installation, $2-3 per sq. foot.
Vertical
Blinds- $4-$7.00 a running foot by width.
Shades-
same as blinds
Draperies-
$2-5.00 per running foot
Top Treatments-
$3.00 to $5.00 a running foot.
